Alan Orwick Quai Network
Alan Orwick is the co-founder of Quai Network, a scalable, smart contract-enabled Proof-of-Work Layer-1 blockchain. A longtime Bitcoin enthusiast, he co-founded the Texas Blockchain Club at UT Austin and later worked at Apple as a software engineer. At Quai, he leads development of a multichain architecture that scales at the base layer, using Proof-of-Work as an oracle for real-world demand. Under his leadership, Quai’s testnet processed over 1B transactions with 2,000+ nodes and 5,500 GPUs. Backed by Polychain and others, Quai is preparing for its Mainnet launch in 2025.
