Amrit Kumar AltLayer
Amrit Kumar is co-founder of Altlayer.
He is a computer scientist and entrepreneur, best known as the co-founder and former President and Chief Scientific Officer of Zilliqa, a blockchain platform addressing scalability issues through sharding technology. He holds a Master’s in Cryptography and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Université Grenoble Alpes. After his tenure at Zilliqa, Kumar became Chairperson of Binarii Labs and COO of Alt Research, developers of the AltLayer protocol. He also serves as Co-Chief Investment Officer at Rule72, formerly Zilliqa Capital.
