Jay Kurahashi-Sofue is the Chief Marketing Officer at Eco Inc., where he leads marketing efforts for the Eco Protocol—a platform designed to simplify on-chain stablecoin transactions and enhance cross-chain liquidity. Since joining Eco in June 2024, Jay has focused on expanding the protocol’s adoption and community engagement. Previously, he served as VP of Marketing at Ava Labs, contributing to the growth of the Avalanche ecosystem. Jay’s background includes roles at Fluidity, AirSwap, and Ogilvy, where he co-founded the agency’s first blockchain marketing group. He holds a BA in History of Art with a minor in Telecommunications from Indiana University Bloomington and is based in Brooklyn, New York.
