Gavin Thomas is co-founder of TEN Protocol an Ethereum Layer 2 built for encrypted and scalable smart contract execution. With over 20 years of experience designing enterprise software for banks and brokers, Gavin discovered blockchain while working on regulatory systems and later joined R3 as one of its earliest employees, helping build the Corda platform. His career bridges TradFi rigor with Web3 innovation shaping TEN’s mission to deliver confidentiality and efficiency within the EVM ecosystem. TEN uses trusted execution environments (TEEs), to enable scalable, developer-friendly selective privacy—unlocking real use cases in AI agents, financial applications, and gaming. The protocol’s testnet is live, with mainnet expected in 2025.
